Mr. Abhishek Agrawal currently works as “Senior Research Analyst” with Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe). In IRADe he works under USAID project of South Asia Regional Initiative for Energy Integration (SARI/EI). As an expert, his duties involves Technical inputs/advice on Policy, Regulatory roadmap of the SARI/EI program for enhancing Cross-Border Energy Trade (CBET) in South Asia (SA).
Before Joining IRADe, Mr. Agrawal worked with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. He has 8 years of dual domain experience in research and consultancy of clean energy projects, solar/biomass energy, energy storage, Stakeholder consultation, Policy and Regulatory analysis with strong technical knowledge. He has closely worked for MNRE, MEA, UNIDO, World Bank, GIZ, GERC, MERC, ICAR and various other ministries, funding agencies and PSUs.
Mr. Abhishek Agrawal is a Mechanical Engineer and holds M.Tech degree (Specialization in Fluid & Thermal Engineering) from IIT Guwahati (2011-13 batch). Currently, he is also pursuing PhD from IIT Delhi.
