Regional Energy Markets Partnership

The Regional Energy Markets Partnership brings together senior-level representatives from both private and public sectors, including government, energy trading organizations, ISOs, regulatory agencies, transmission, Transcos, public and private sector distribution companies, Gencos, IPPs, private investors and the business community to discuss key topics including:

  • Promoting energy markets and regional power trading to maximize the use of available energy in South Asia by encouraging energy markets where excess energy can be traded or sold at market/competitive pricing;
  • And issues facing cross border energy trade, including financing, integration of renewable and clean energy sources of energy.
