Raju Maharjan is Senior Divisional Engineer, Ministry of Energy, Government of Nepal. He obtained his “Bachelor of Engineer” from the Bangalore University in 1996. He started his career in Government service of Nepal in 1999 and ever since has been serving in various capacities. In the meantime, he completed Master of Technology from IIT Roorkee, India in 2006. During his career development, he completed various courses and training programs in technical, managerial and economic subjects from various institutions. At present, he is a head of Foreign Coordination Section of Ministry of Energy, Government of Nepal.

He is a member of Task Force-1 constituted in fourth phase of SARI/EI program. His role is to participate in Task Force-1 Meetings as government representative from Nepal and give inputs on Policy, Legal and Regulatory matters from the Nepal’s perspective.
